Oct 02 2024 Some Bookish Favorites for Fall
Hi, my name is Kristin, and I am a book nerd. But you already know that (unless you are new here).
What a great time to cozy up with a good read as the weather turns from warm to crisp and the days grow shorter. So, let’s talk about some bookish finds for the autumnal season.
Second Sale is my new favorite used book site; it has great selections, pricing, and sales.
FREE, FREE, FREE! Library apps: Libby, Cloud Library, and Hoopla. Different library systems use various apps. You only need a library card to borrow audiobooks, E-Books, or phone views. Hoopla offers videos as well.
Yes, it’s thick and not online, but I think it’s the best synonym finder out there. It is my dearest writing companion.
It was not a banner summer for fiction reads, but here are my two favorites from the season. Beautiful writing.
Great Reading Light! My husband gives it two thumbs up. He’s had his for three years, and it still holds a charge for months.
Happy Bookish Fall, Ya’ll (couldn’t resist)!
Many people, myself among them, feel better at the mere sight of a book.

I have thought about doing a podcast but not sure I have the bandwith, but I may start doing some things on my YouTube channel. Stay tuned…
